ABOUT MIAMI PAL
Since 1995, Miami PAL has been providing free after-school programs, summer academic camps, and athletic programs to over 1,000 youths, ages 5-18 who may otherwise not have the opportunity to participate in these activities.
Throughout the years, the program has broadened its scope to include education, mentoring, arts and crafts, dance, music, social services, leadership development, field trips, and most recently the STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).
Miami PAL provides youth with the tools and life skills they need to achieve a successful future.
The Miami Police Athletic League, Inc. is a 501c3, not-for-profit organization
Our program would not be possible without the support of individuals within our community. We are grateful for the impact of our volunteers and are always looking for additional volunteers to support and enhance our programs. Volunteers have supported all of our athletic programs, along with our mentoring program.
Miami PAL youth aides are u huge part of what we do in our program. Our aides assist with planning, staging, and execution of our programs. These programs include STEM, Basketball, Track and Field, Summer Camp, Tackle Football, and Cheer. Aides also assist with community event held by the City of Miami Police Department and Miami PAL. Youth must be entering 12th grade or graduating high school.
